Report

Farnham Knights won the British Youth American Football Association Youth Kitted League Division 1 Bowl by 20-0 over new team Lancashire Wolverines. Wide Receiver Mart Zaki scored all three touchdowns for the Knights and Sean Donahue (an Irish name) was named game MVP (Most Valuable Player) as he shined on both defense and running back. The Knights had not given up a single point all season and had triumphed 6-0 over London Capitals in the Semi-Finals. The Wolverines had knocked out Birmingham Bulls 22-14 in the other Semi-Final. Southern Sun Devils and Bedford Huskers had been defeated in the Playoffs by the Capitals and Wolverines respectively. All 8 teams were afforded an opportunity to play in the postseason as Gloster Gladiators defeated Nottingham Caesars 26-12 in the first ever 9v9 Division 2 Bowl.
