Report
Arsenal won the second Makita International Soccer Tournament in Wembley Stadium in July 1989, defeating Liverpool in the Final after the two teams had defeated FC Porto and Dynamo Kiev in the Semi-Finals.
About the Makita Tournament
The Makita Tournament was a Preseason International Soccer Tournament held at Wembley Stadium, London from 1988 to 1990, and then Highbury, Arsenal’s Home Ground in 1991.
