Report

Sampdoria, from Genoa in Italy won the 3rd Four-Team Preseason International Tournament at Wembley in July 1990, defeating Arsenal in the Final. Spain’s Real Sociedad won the 3rd Place Playoff against Aston Villa.

The Makita Tournament was a Preseason International Soccer Tournament held at Wembley Stadium, London from 1988 to 1990, and then Highbury, Arsenal’s Home Ground in 1991.
